BOSS77 Payment Methods — Every Rail, Its Limits & Its Rules

This section holds 8 pages on payment methods.

These pages describe Philippine payment rails — who runs them, what they are licensed as, what they publish about limits, fees and settlement. Every figure comes from the provider’s own domain or from a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas document, because payment figures are copied between affiliate sites more carelessly than almost anything else on the internet.

8 pages, each one covering a single entry rather than summarising several. Where a field above reads “not published”, the entry’s own page explains who would have had to publish it.

Each entry in a paragraph

Enough on each to know which page is the one worth opening.

GCash

Run by G-Xchange, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Published limit: PHP 100,000 at Fully Verified, measured at any given time.

On gambling: GCash’s own terms and conditions contain no blanket ban on gambling merchants — the nearest general clause bars pyramid and Ponzi schemes.

Maya

Run by Maya Philippines, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Published limit: PHP 100,000 per month at the Upgraded tier, rising to PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users, from PHP 50,000 at Basic.

On gambling: Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions were read directly and contain no gambling clause — only general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches.

GrabPay

Run by GPay Network Philippines, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

Published limit: PHP 100,000 loaded per month on a Standard Consumer wallet, against PHP 10,000 on a Restricted wallet and PHP 250,000 on a driver or merchant wallet.

On gambling: This is the clearest gambling position of any Philippine e-wallet examined, and it is a prohibition.

InstaPay

Run by Philippine Payments Management, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A wallet limit is not a concept that applies to this rail, which is why the field is marked not applicable rather than left blank.

InstaPay publishes no position on gambling transactions. That is not permission — merchant-category rules are routinely applied without being published, and a payment can be declined with no public rule behind it.

PESONet

Run by Philippine Payments Management, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A wallet limit is not a concept that applies to this rail, which is why the field is marked not applicable rather than left blank.

PESONet publishes no position on gambling transactions. That is not permission — merchant-category rules are routinely applied without being published, and a payment can be declined with no public rule behind it.

Bank Transfer

Run by Philippine Payments Management, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A wallet limit is not a concept that applies to this rail, which is why the field is marked not applicable rather than left blank.

Bank Transfer publishes no position on gambling transactions. That is not permission — merchant-category rules are routinely applied without being published, and a payment can be declined with no public rule behind it.

Over-the-Counter Cash Agents

Run by Not one operator but a set of independently owned, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A wallet limit is not a concept that applies to this rail, which is why the field is marked not applicable rather than left blank.

Over-the-Counter Cash Agents publishes no position on gambling transactions. That is not permission — merchant-category rules are routinely applied without being published, and a payment can be declined with no public rule behind it.

Debit and Credit Cards

Run by The Visa and Mastercard international schemes, regulated by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

A wallet limit is not a concept that applies to this rail, which is why the field is marked not applicable rather than left blank.

On gambling: No Philippine-specific statement by BSP, Visa or Mastercard on gambling transactions could be sourced.

The thing most often got wrong here

A wallet limit is not a single comparable number. GCash publishes a ceiling on the balance held at any given time; Maya publishes a monthly total. Those measure different things, and the side-by-side tables that put PHP 100,000 next to PHP 100,000 as though they mean the same thing are comparing a bucket to a tap.

Each page states which of the two it is quoting. It is the difference between a limit you hit by holding money and a limit you hit by moving it, and no amount of table formatting reconciles them.

What this section does not cover

No page here states a deposit minimum, a withdrawal fee or a processing time for any casino. Those are properties of an operator’s cashier, no cashier was reachable during research, and a figure invented for that slot would be the single most damaging thing this site could publish.

That omission is deliberate and it is the same on every page in this section. A site that fills those gaps with plausible numbers reads better and is worth less.

Checking any of this without trusting this site

Payment figures go stale faster than anything else on a site like this. Every one of them can be rechecked in a couple of minutes:

  1. Open the provider’s own help centre rather than a comparison page. GCash, Maya and Grab all publish their limits and their terms on their own domains, and all three have revised them inside the last two years.
  2. Check which tier a quoted limit belongs to. Almost every wallet figure in circulation is the top-tier number quoted as though it applied to a new account, and a new account is on the bottom tier.
  3. For InstaPay and PESONet, go to the BSP FAQ PDFs rather than to a bank. The per-transaction cap and who pays the fee are set at the scheme level, and a bank’s own page describes only its own charges.
  4. For anything about gambling and payments, read the provider’s acceptable use policy in full. GrabPay’s prohibition is in its terms of service, not in a help article, and it is the clearest statement any of these providers makes.
  5. Treat every figure on these pages as dated September 2026. Each page names the source it came from for exactly this reason.

FAQ

Which of these rails publishes a position on gambling transactions?

GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Debit and Credit Cards. GrabPay's is the clearest and it is a prohibition: its own acceptable use policy bars casino games and sports betting except where the activity is registered with the appropriate government agency.

Why does no page here list a deposit minimum?

Because a deposit minimum is set by the operator's cashier, not by the payment rail, and no BOSS77 cashier was reachable during research. A figure in that slot would be invented.

Are these figures current?

They are a snapshot recorded in September 2026. Payment providers revise limits and fees without notice, and each page names the provider page the figure came from so it can be rechecked.

Can GCash be used to fund a casino account?

GCash's own terms contain no blanket ban on gambling merchants, but BSP ordered every supervised institution to strip in-app gambling links in August 2025 and GCash has blocked thousands of merchants abusing its QR system. None of that amounts to a published statement either way about a licensed casino's cashier, and this site does not supply one.

Why is GrabPay treated differently from the other wallets here?

Because it is the only one with an explicit gambling prohibition in its own terms of service. Telling a reader GrabPay is a straightforward way to fund a casino account would contradict what GrabPay publishes about itself.

What is the difference between InstaPay and PESONet?

InstaPay settles in real time, runs around the clock and caps personal transfers at PHP 50,000 per transaction. PESONet clears in batches on banking days with no scheme-wide cap. The amount usually decides which one carries a transfer, because InstaPay's ceiling forces larger ones onto PESONet.
